All Lined Up

All Lined Up - Cora Carmack Great first book in series!

I love how incredibly sweet and funny this book is. The author sure is really good at making great banters between characters. It's just awesome.

The plot is pretty straightforward. The daughter of the coach falls for one of the players. OFF LIMITS. This book is all about them finding a way to still be together with all the obstacles around them.

I guess I could have given this a solid five. However, I was kinda frustrated with Dallas and her lack of fire from the start when it comes to her dad. I mean, she fights with him, sure, but she doesn't really go through what she plans... well, not until the end that is. I was also sort of confused with what Carson really wanted at the start. Man oh man, the friend zone is such a confusing space eh?

Anyway, I like them as a couple because together, they make sense. I didn't even realize that they were moving too fast. Dallas' dad had to point it out for me to see that yeah, it was kinda fast. But really, the pacing is cool with me. I like how they are FRIENDS and I like how they are attracted to one another and still be able to talk to each other like normal people. ;)

There are some things left unexplained here, but I guess it's all part of the story. For example, Levi's disappearance.. it wasn't really explained in great detail. I also wanted to know more about Carson's family.

So there.. all in all, this is one good start for a series! Looking forward to the next books! :)
